5.3L LS – LM7 AKA Vortec 5300
The Vortec 5300 LM7 (VIN code 8th digit “T”) was introduced in 1999. It has a cast-iron block and aluminum heads and can be considered the “garden variety” version of the Generation III V-8s.

These cathedral offerings come stock with great flow and, unlike many truck heads, smaller factory combustion chambers (61.15cc) that won’t drop your compression into the basement. These heads came on hundreds of thousands of 1999 and up GM 5.3L and 4.8L engines, so they are super plentiful in scrapyards.

This intake manifold Kit comes with electronic transmission control. This option is used when operating a GM electronically controlled automatic transmission. The Ultimate LS ECU has the ability to control the shift point, shift firmness, when to downshift properly, and all other features involved when controlling the transmission. This feature is suitable for 4L60, 4L65, 4L80 or 4L85 GM transmissions. If using transmission control connect the two sides of the trans connector to the sub-harness and connect this to the connector on the transmission. Once connected to the transmission you are ready. If not using transmission control leave the connectors untouched.

Brian Tooley high lift springs – SK001
The BTR platinum spring kit would be inducted into the LS aftermarket hall of fame if such a thing existed. Whether you’re putting together a daily driver with a mild cam, a 600 hp N/A stroker, or a turbocharged 1000 hp brawler, our platinum spring kit will make sure your valves are right where your cam wants them to be at all times. They are designed to be used with stock rocker arms. If you go the roller rocker route, see part # SK002. This is a drop-in kit for 15° LS heads. It will also work with LS7 heads when used with a .045” shim (Part numbers SS015 +SS030). This kit will not fit LS9 engines. See part # SK006 for LS9 heads.
